Purcy Skyseeker
Purcy grew up in Limsa, under rather shady living conditions, most of those he knew as a child being thieves or scam artists. He always felt out of place, thinking those around them had no care for themselves or others, and once he was old enough to, he left his parents to pick up odd jobs and make a living.
Being in Limsa, he knew of the arcanist's guild, and one day was being paid to cart a shipment to them. After witnessing the mixture of magic and study within the guild, he became inspired to practice the art, seeing it as a way to make something better of himself through learning. He studied magic in between his part time jobs, and once he was skilled enough started traveling to other places for research, funding his trips by being a magic tutor.
At some point he started frequenting the dueling Otters, a tavern and fight club one of his friend works at, and became such a regular he was asked to join staff, where he currently works.
